I can't remember now, The first 2 were the cheap ones and then the 3rd one I bought the most exspensive one.

O'Reilly's usually has good stuff. I doubt thats your problem.

did you use crimp connections when you spliced in the new plug? Maybe one has come loose. Or perhaps further down the wiring harness you have a frayed wire.

Bingo! I took the wires off again today and soldered then together this time and everything is working great again......So far
