Default Door hinge pins

Has anyone replaced them with the Dorman(Help!) pins? The sagging door diy uses a different brand, and the Dorman ones have 2 different sizes in the box , but both pins on the truck look the same length to me. Plus there is no plastic clip or whatever it says in that thread.

TIA, John

My experience with Dorman is the products are often "universal" in nature and your kit may cover a wide variety of applications. You may need two kits to get the correct pins. It claims in the catalog that you get both pins for a '98, but the same kit only contains the upper pin for a '97.

You are right, I just got done installing them(driver Door). I did buy 2 kits a couple months ago when I had the doors fixed and new something didn't look right. Thank goodness I bought 2 pair, LOL

Anyway, my door works great now.

Was it a difficult install?

About an hour with out removing the door,as I had no help and since Friday my back is in limp mode. Just a jack , 2x4 and some foam padding to hold the door up. And I did one at a time.
