I know Tuffy makes some nice storage boxes, kinda pricey though.

Default Try to find a BesTop

01dabram20 -

I have one made by BesTop that I purchased from Cabelas in the summer of 2007 that I highly recommend. It installed easily, looks great, and is holding up very well. I couldn't live without it now that I have it.

The bad news is that it doesn't appear that Cabelas sells them anymore, and they don't appear on the BesTop website either.

I googled around a bit (bestop dodge underseat storage), and it appears that there are quite a few sites still show them in their catalog, but it's anybodies guess if they are really in stock or not.

Here's a link to the instruction manual that is still on the BesTop website:

http://www.bestop.com/installation_guides/42660.pdf

At least you can get an idea of what it looks like, and maybe do a search on the part number?

I assume you're talking about the rear seat? My truck, being an ST, didn't come with any underseat storage under the rear seat. So I got one out of an SLT on eBay for very cheap. If you go that route, you need to either fab up your own mounting method, or make sure you get the seat hinges from the SLT seat that the box came from. It is a different hinge then what is on your truck, and has the mounting for the box on it. The box I bought came with the hinges too, so I replaced them on my seat, and the box installed perfectly.

I also bought cheap the underseat (under the middle front seat) cup holders for the rear passengers. It installed easily too.

You could try a junkyard, that way you can get the storage tray and the hinges in one place. I have an ST, and I've been thinking about doing this too, anything I put under the seat will slide around, especially with the vinyl floor.
