Take off the pillar post on the passenger side and look for a wire connector. It'll take you about a minute to get the pillar off.
If not, it's no big deal, you can take the wire out of one of the existing grommeted holes in the fire wall and wire it directly to running lights at the fuse box.

i know that lol i found a guy on here who has a hole set up from a factory 2500 ram. What did you use to seal the holes in your roof? i just wanted to know if my truck had the factory plug did yr? i have an 01 1500. which style do i buy there is 2 for dodge.

i just screwed right into my roof. I used silicone to seal whatever was left. I only drilled holes big enough for the wires to tightly fit through.
