I know that there was a recent thread about clearance light but how do i know if my truck has a pre wired connection for clearance light. If I do would it be as simple as plug and play kinda deal.

Take off the pillar post on the passenger side and look for a wire connector. It'll take you about a minute to get the pillar off.
If not, it's no big deal, you can take the wire out of one of the existing grommeted holes in the fire wall and wire it directly to running lights at the fuse box.

I ran my wires from the lights down the driver side pillar and connected it right into the switch. Just used a wire tie so that i wouldnt have to cut into factory wires. Works fine.

im the one who just installed mine.. see sig picture

i just screwed right into my roof. I used silicone to seal whatever was left. I only drilled holes big enough for the wires to tightly fit through.
