You should check the transfer case fluid, trans fluid, both diff's, front wheel bearing hubs and axle ujoints, both driveshafts, and rear wheelbearings. Only saying this because you say a little grinding is heard also.

And does all heater operations work normal? It's not changing from to defrost to floor or whatever when you are on the pedal is it? And if you have cruise is that working too?

One more thing, does 4 wheel drive work normal?

Just thought of something else, when was the last time you changed the air filter? Maybe the hat is not seated properly on the TB.

Now that you mention it the heater makes a really horrible fluttering sound when I use it, whether low, medium or high... what could that point to?

Also I did a tune up about a month ago, maybe I didnt seal the air filter intake case tight enough, i'll take a look at that.

Thanks for advice guys, keep it coming.

A vacuum leak maybe, and one of the doors is flopping around or there is some junk in there rubbing against the motor fan. Does it go from hot to cold like it should when you change it?

And you can go from defrost to floor to dash, etc... normally? And when you are on the throttle nothing changes by itself?

Yeah no probem, only thing is 'sometimes' the AC kicks off when im punching the gas going up a grade, like the LA Grape Vine or something, but I heard thats natural because the engine is working harder to push the truck and takes the energy it would use to work the AC?

How do I go about finding the vaccum leak? Is it the thing where you spray carbirator(sp) cleaner all around the engine while its running? If so I tried that, nothing.
