Default Single or Duel exhaust exit?

Ok, so right now I have a stock exhaust and I want to get a Magnaflow set up. What I want to know is what would I have to do to run dual's? Do I need to remove the spare tire forever? Would it be just easier to stay with a single?

You would not have to remove the spare for dual exhaust. Are you talking true duals from the headers or dual tailpipes?

There is a very good flowmaster ebay kit available for 2nd gens that is dual exit.

I'm biased, but I think a 3" single exhaust is the way to go, unless you want to be flashy and grab the attention of the local young females.

Im talking about a single enter, and dual exit. I might just stay with a single cause it will be a bit easier. But I do like the look of dual's. And from what I hear on youtube, I seem to like the Magnaflow sound better the flowmaster. And that is a pretty good price for that Flowmaster, but its for an 02+ not 01.

search forums..people all got their own feelings. Some say why do it if it not true duals? I pondered this a long time and just decided to do a single in single out and LATER when I got money Im doing a header to exhaust tip replacement with true duals.

oh and no to hijack this thread but is our stock exhaust 2.5 or 3 in? I measured mine and it should 3 in...thought they were 2.5.

Then get the duals, because you won't be satisfied with a single.

My 98 was stock 2.5.

BTW, what is wrong with your neighbor's roof across the street? Not doing much for his curb appeal.

Measure it with a caliper or c-clamp.
