I was like WTF! Just give me the plug, OH WAIT! The computers are down we can only take cash right now,now I'm really pissed, go to the atm to get some cash, mind you it's snowing heavy and the roads suck and I'm driving a VW Cabrio! LOL Last time I will ever go there, no matter what.

Anyway thanks for the info,my pan is like 3" deep so I got plenty room.

I had to run to advance today to get a speedo cable for my acura. The guy told me that the advance auto computers NATIONWIDE were down. But its about 70 degrees down here, so i didnt mind the trip.

I put a B&M plug I got from Amazon.com in mine. Works pretty well. I put mine where Wayne at APS suggested. If you need pictures I can probably find them.

Thanks HOME, I put it next to the magnet like Dvaughn. The B&M has no O-ring does it? I'm ordering one and changing it out since I can drain the fluid first now.

LOL, This is like the 3rd time in a month that has happened with them. Meanwhile the website works fine.

Wow! You are having some probs with finding a drain plug! I'm going yo avoid this and just get a B&M one from Geno's Garage(awesome catalog, BTW!). $10.00.

BTW, what about putting the plug where the dimple is in the pan?

Id put it where hometheaterman suggested. That is the lowest spot on the pan and you will get out the most amount of fluid.

you talking about the dimple where the magnet sits? That dimple is meant to keep the magnet from sliding around in the pan. IDK if it actually ever would slide around, but wouldn't delete it and take the chance.

http://www.amazon.com/B-80250-Automa...1774464&sr=8-1

That's what I got I'm pretty sure although it's not purple as in the picture. It's cheaper a few dollars cheaper than $10 which is what you said it was at Geno's Garage.

I don't know if you'd call it a o-ring but it has that white rubber piece that's like a gasket or washer or whatever you want to call it. I think that's the only thing on it. Not sure if it has one anywhere else but I don't think so.
