Curious how did you use 1/4mile ets to get 6.7seconds?
So what exact et & mph does this truck run in the 1/8mile & 1/4mile?

I didn't know a gsrx600 would go much faster than 170. My brothers cbr600 tops out at 175. I thought it would be a breeze to top it out but 145 seemed way too fast. I talked to my brother today and he said hes actually had his busa up to 215... it tops out at 220.... scary stuff.. brings real meaning to the term crotch rocket. I'm trying to buy a seca 2... ill be lucky to get over 100!!

well ive had my speedo say 167... rockets are known to have their speedos off by as much as 10%. Mine isnt off that bad, but I was probably only going somewhere in the mid 150's which is plenty fast for me.

According to sportrider magizine, out of the 600's the r6 has the highest top speed... if I remember right its 161mph, the rest of the bikes were not much lower...

I changed mine with my hypertech programer.

Having different ratio gears do not affect the speedometer (at least in my truck), I believe I read that it is my year 1999 where they changed the speed sensor to get its signal from the ring gear its self instead of elsewhere. 1 rotation of the ring gear is 1 rotation weather its 1:1 gearing or 30:1 gearing.

Ive checked it with a friend of mine's gps, it reads about 3 mph high.

Gears make a very good difference, as I stated before it was always a very good running truck from the start, but in stock form my 0-60 was 9 seconds on a good day.

alright.....i knew that my 95 got the speed from the tranny......not callin you a liar, was just wondering....its 3mph off at what speed?......it should be off a certain%....like with my small tires im only going 82.5% of what my speedo says, so thats only a 2mph difference at 10mph but 20mph diff. at 100mph

I think I checked it at 70 mph...
I dident check it at much faster than that, but I dident notice it being off by anything significant at slower speeds.

One way you could look at it is, look at when the truck shifts... take account for the lower gear ratio which is why it shifts at a slower speed than these trucks to normally.

tried my 0-60 time out and im running it at about 18 seconds. I have 2 in spacers in the front and im running 285/75/16's and they rub at lock.. just to show the size. No performance mods. Probably why its so slow? I have good top end power but bottom end is terrible.
