Default resonated exhaust tips

I was wondering what resonated exhaust tips are,and what they do. And if they make your exhaust quieter?

a resinator is basically a glasspack muffler. Many manufacturers use them just before the exhust tip to stop the resinating in the cab or around the car, resinating is like a low bass tone you sometimes hear around a car, it can get very annoying. but to answer your question, a resinator tip is just that, a resinator in the exhaust tip, it will drown more sound if you want.

A resonator tip usually packed with fiberglass tends to shave off some of the high frequencies to make your sound deeper as it exits the vehicle. It doesn't make it quieter but a bit more pleasing to the ear.

Any exhaust that has fiberglass in it will blow out over time. Just the moisture in your exhaust system will over time blow all the fiberglass out and then you have an expensive piece of pipe. Kinda like putting on a set of glass packs, getting them hot, taking them to the car was, spraying them down with water, and making them as loud as straight pipes. Same concept......
