try burping the system with the passenger tire on a curb or ramp. See if you can get the fill cap to the highest point.

when you burp the system.. carefully squeeze the bottom hose going into the radiator.. I had the same problem and I though I had all the bubbles out.. hahah I put in nearly a gallon of 50/50 blend!!!

theres no doubt in my mind i still have alot of air in the system...i hear the coolant every morning rushing into to heater core.so far everything i've tried has had zero results. if the lower radiator hose doesnt work this time, i'm gonna try cutting the heater hose from thermostat housing an filling it that way and putting in a connector.i've had this thing on banks at my fathers house that i swear was twisting the frame just to try an get cap higher than rest of system and that didnt seem to work either.

I jacked the front end up with my 3 ton jack as high as I could, ran the engine till it was hot, and squeezed the hose until no more bubbles and it's been ok since.

i'm gonna try everything i know of again one more time each and then if its still not free of air i will live with it till spring.i'm gonna try jacking it up and massaging all the hoses like you did then put it back on the bank at fathers before i try the others.i have never ran into this problem before with any of my vehicles since i started driving nor in my 9 years as a mechanic.

I'm not saying it's that, but you definitely have a leak somewhere. Check all hoses, around the radiator esp. where it crimps around the plastic mounting pillars, the t-stat housing, and take a peek at the freeze plugs around the bottom of the engine.

TIP: if you see any wet spots on your engine, under the vehicle, etc., and you don't know if they are coolant, you can use either a black light or a flash photograph and it'll show up clear as day.

yeah man you might want to watch your radiator, mine did the same exact noise for 2 weeks straight, all i did was turn the music up so i couldn't hear it then boom, sitting at a stoplight i look behind me and there's green **** everywhere.
