Default 4WD and 2WD wheels

I need a new wheel for my '97 Ram 1500 4X4 truck. It is the OE 16X7 allow wheel. My question is are the 4WD and 2WD truck wheels the same? I've found one on craigslist that came off a 2WD truck but I'm not sure it would fit. Thanks.

they should be the same i'm not 100% but i dont see why they would make 2 sizes for a 2wd and a 4wd 1500.

Its a legitimate question especially if this is your first dodge because I know chevy has different sizes for 2wd and 4wd in the small trucks and I believe its the same for the big ones too.

Is the 2wd truck also a 1500? If it is a 2wd 2500, it will not be the same because it will be 8 lug instead of 5 lug.

Yes, the other truck is a 1500 also, same lug pattern. In another life I was a cheby owner and the 4WD truck wheels were different, hence the reason for my question. Appreciate the info fellas.
