In the -30's this morning here (with wind chill). I have a remote start on mine and it hasnt had an issue yet starting in the cold (2 winters now). After it warms up i go out and put it in neutral for a few minutes before i take off. Remote starter = best purchase for the truck period!

Well this morning it was -27 at 5:30 I call in for a vacation day, so at 11:30 am I decided to try the beast, it took 4 times to crank, 5 seconds at a time and it did start, but you talk about strange noises, I almost shut it off., let it sit in nutual for 30 mins. things were fine. The rear wheels want to lock up, but I guess thats normal, Id lock up to at -27. Tomorrow morning even colder, at least I have that day off. My wifes has a 96 intrepid and I tried that at 12pm and it took right off, gotta love dodge. Moral of the story (preventive matainace)

-17* here now and that's probably going to be the high. I checked weatherunderground and all of the reporting cities in Alaska are warmer than here.

I have heard that you can also stick you tongue on the truck and if it doesn't stick, it's good to drive.
