quick question

Default quick question

is a rough country steering stabalizer worth $35 and $6 shipping? i offered $20 on it and will see if he accepts. its the big bore stabalizer. i will eventualy go with 35's but i figuered get it while its cheap. any opinions?

I suppose its worth it. Something wrong with your stock one? To be honest with you, I hear more and more people just removing them. I have read (from quite informative people) that a good steering system does not even need a stabilizer (which a dodge steering system is far from good).

no nothing wrong with mine that i know of just dont think it qould hurt to upgrade for cheap. Purpldodge check out ebay

I know one thing is for sure. Our truck stabilizers don't like it when you run down signs. I did and it bend the stabalizer bar by about 30 degrees and I couldn't turn left anymore till I took it off and replaced it. I've heard that if you take them off then you will get a lot of vibration at higher speeds.

Because I have bent/broke them or because they get all pitted up and rusty and look like crap. I'm sure they are still functional, but for $30-$40, I'm happy to put a nice new shiny one on.

I didn't realize that they were so readily available as an aftermarket replacement and I ordered mine from the stealership and it cost like $110. I was pissed.
