I'm Army, squid. I've actually done a REAL tour of duty. Like I said, I understand your need to compensate. You should look on the bright side, I don't actually HATE you much anymore
because I get where your coming from. Its all good.

 

And im not a Navy Mate electrician, nor an electrician of any kind but when I give advise I give it based on my own personal experience's.
I had an alarm on my Camaro for 4 years and all the wires were taped with 3m Electrical tape, I never had any problems and when I sold the car I removed the old alarm (new owner had a fear of alarms draining batteries and did not want it on there as a condition of the sale) I took it out myself and the tape was not a "Black Sticky Mush", was alittle dried out but no where near the point of just falling off or losing its adhesive-ness. And if possible I solder my wires then wrap them in electrical tape. Had the alarm in my truck for 11 months and the tape is still in great condition (just checked) and I've had no problems with it either.

So please tell me oh great master of all things electrical, what is electrical tape for if its not good for use on electric wires?

Yes by you bidding, it would have allowed me to take the second chance offer now instead of waiting... but im in no rush. Heck I won't be able to install it for at least another couple weeks anyway. Oh, and since I am charity... No I will not install it for you.
