That means maybe your stock coil was weak, cap and rotor needed replace or the wires and or plugs were shot. Most likely due to the blown plenum as far as the plugs go. Don't fool yourself into thinking that MSD coil did anything for you.

I know this thread is old, but since it's at the top, my advice for anyone that wants to avoid a headache and needs to replace the O2 sensors is to get the NTK ones instead of the Bosche ones.

I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 when it gets hot it cuts off at lights etc. It will crank back up but I have to hold the gas to keep it running. If I let it cool down it will run fine. What do you think my problem is?

Crank sensor is my guess. You can also try cleaning the IAC. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-r...n-the-iac.html And get a Haynes manual and a cheap multi meter. This way you can test all the sensors.

Get the multimeter, the FSM, and check as recommended. Then, post back results.

Try what these guys said. If its still doing it, it maybe a warped intake maifold or "keg". My truck did the exact same thing as yours. I replaced part after part-no difference. I even took off the kegger and repalced the plenum gasket. To my aggrivation its STILL DID IT. A friend looked at it, and with the engine running sprayed some carb cleaner along both side of the kegger manifold. At fits it didnt do anything, But after it warmed up it stalled the engine! I found someone to loan me the $$ to buy a Hughes intake, and that completely solved the problem and it runs good as new now

I have a very similar problem with my girl. She loses power and starts bucking so I have to downshift to bring her out of it. I'm going to change the TPS and 02 sensors ( this guy swears the sensors are the problem) but I'm sure it is more than just the 02s. It seems to me that the down shifting or flooring it specifies the TPS being bad too.
