I blew the differential and pinon and want to swap an 01 junk yard rear end .. I've done wheel bearings brakes water pump control arms etc .. what's the procedure for removing the housing besides remove u Johnny and brake lines? Just the single u bolt on each side and it will drop?

Disconnect
Brake lines
Parking brake cables
Wiring (ABS sensor or sensors if 4WALB)
Driveshaft
Remove the u joints and it will move. You WILL NEED new u joints.
Rear axle housing swap
