ok i have now decided, that i will be taking all the new parts back and getting just about all my money back because advanced auto doesnt know that there is a differance between the 360 and 318 cranks.... they gave me the worng one and now i have to wait to get the right one. and not to mention i am just stressed to heck out on this and dont feel like doing it anymore cause i just want my truck back. even though it is pretty fun to do engine internals again...

my question is and this is on a completely new motor basis. will an NV4500 fit in my truck with a new 318... what would have to be modified or would it just bolt in? would i have to move the transfercase? and is that worth it? i need a really strong trans cause in the slight future i will be making alot of power and i dont want to have to try to get another trans after this one .

or a better question i guess... what would some of you do for a tras/ transfercase if you made 350+ hp?
