Woo hoo!
Drove the ram up to ashland KY this saturday and got 16MPGs going through the mountains! Although i was only going an average of 65.
We i drove through SC and NC, i got 12mpgs going 80. Got a speeding ticket in Statesville, Doh!
16 hours round trip straight through, only shut the truck off to get gas and load up in KY. 185k miles on the truck.

1. You get there faster
2. MPG's go down.

ha ha. i was driving through atlanta early one morning before daylight. the interstate was about 8 lanes wide, it was dark as egypt, pouring down rain, the road full of water, crappy wipers, spray everywhere, just couldn't see anything. it was just the worst conditions possible. i'm in my old chevy and i'm in one of the far right lanes going about 50 and its nothing but white knuckles. cars and semi's are zipping past going 70+ like its ideal conditions and i'm just surrounded by other cars... as i glance in a mirror all of a sudden there's a set of headlight behind me going sideways... i keep looking and there's a dozen sets of lights going sideways... the people beside me running 70 leave me in their wake. all of a sudden i'm alone on the highway, nobody around. it was an errie feeling. i read later that it was one of those 20 car pileups.
