suspension lift
i am looking for a 3in. suspension lift for 2001 i don't want blocks or coil spacers. i am looking for a kit with coils and add a leaf. does anyone know who makes suck or what kind of combo i can do to make this work?
Most of the suspension companies offer a 3" lift for our trucks. Although the ones with new springs are quite a bit more expensive, I think it is worth it. Some only come with rear blocks though, so you gotta watch for that too if you are wanting add-a-leafs. Skyjacker sells a pretty decent 3" kit with new springs and so does Rough Country. You can even get them with new control arms (although they are not NEEDED), it all just depends on how much you want to spend.
As far as dual shocks goes, I think it would be worth it. I wish I had some for all those times I get axle hop in the deep snow and sand, as I think they might help.

I have the 3" skyjacker that has coil springs in the front, and AAL in the rear. It's a good combo in my opinion.
I have a dual shock kit that I never installed on my truck if you (or anyone else) wants it.

eye on, they go for about $360.
I sure have, but only for the rear.
My problem (and everyone else's I'm sure) is the front axle will hop up and down also, but its not "wrapping" like the ladder bar would fix, its "hopping". A four link is basically a ladder bar in itself which wont allow the axle to wrap. Thats why I thought an extra set of shocks might help with the up and down hopping, but I don't know.

shock setup upfront myself. I'm thinking it will help with the extra weight I've added up front.
70lb supercharger, 85lb winch, 140lb (or so) bumper.
I had it advertised once, but i can't remember what I was asking. I'll get you some pictures and you can make me an offer on it. I'm not going to install it, so I'd like to get rid of it. Shocks are not included.
I found my classified ad for it. Guess I do have the shocks with it after all. I forgot I had gotten them. Here's what I had posted back then, but i'm definitely negotiable on the price. You can look it up if you like. I'll get you some pictures if your interested.
"-Tuff Country dual shock kit part #75390 and two Tuff Country shocks part #62231
Fits 94-01 Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 (according to their website). Purchased from Rocky Mountain Suspensions for $147 plus shipping. I'm selling for $130 shipped or best offer.
Never installed. It is brand new in the box. All I did was open the box and the bags to look at the components. Includes two Tuff Country shocks designed to work correctly as a secondary shock and rated for 1-3" of lift. Includes installation instructions."
