I'm gonna run the "good stuff" thru it this weekend (hopefully) and i was just wondering if you guys suggest putting it in the oil too (like i have seen some do). I know about the tank and booster, just wanted to know from some of you with personal experience with running it thru the oil also.
Just change your oil and youll be fine. Seafoam will free up sludge and carbon, when put in oil it will thin your oil out so youll have to swap it asap.
Read the bottle as it gives you all the places it works. I just poured a bottle in my tank last week to clean the injectors and get rid of any water in the gas from all the cold weather and idling. Stuff is sweet. As far as the oil, I've never done it but try half can and run for a tank then change it to get rid of all the loosened sludge.
Thats kinda what i figured about changing it right away. I have read the bottles, i was just asking personal experience cause i know a lot of you have used it in the booster and tanks, was just questioning the oil aspect of it.
