Default 5.9 dies when you let off the gas peddle

hi im new to this site and have a problem. after leaving my lights on and having to jump the truck off it will not run if you let off the gas. could this have messed up the tps?

undercharged/weak battery can cause tps and iac to misbehave. this seems to be a common problem and its posted a lot. make sure battery is well charged, and give it a little bit of time.

Yeah, ran into this exact same problem. Buddy of mine's battery warmer melted his battery. Jumped the truck, it would run as long as you were on the throttle, but died once you let off. We replaced the battery. Charge it up and then have it tested, if the battery is old, it might have just given out.
