Exclamation replacing starter
trying to replace starter in a 98 ram 360,i removed bottom nut and top bolt but starter will not come off.i used 2lb hammer to tap, doesn't seem to move.any suggestions please.

Default bad starter
hit alot harder,starter housing starting to crack,both bolts are out why would it be so hard to break loose.

The stud that you removed the nut from is probably corroded inside the starter housing.
