Well I will be looking to do some visual upgrades to my truck in the upcoming months. She is 13 years old and starting to show her age. So I have a few questions. First, I like the look of the later 90's mirrors. Mine is a 96 SLT Laramie and came with the Chrome electric mirrors. Never been a big fan of chrome and so I got the Sport Scene mirrors. The look good but since I tow fairly often the view with them sucks. I was thinking of updating to the black plastic ones from the late 90's, however it lists the electric ones as being heated also. My question is do the have the same wiring harness as mine? And if the they do, will the heated portion work? If it doesn't it wont bother me. My second question is, does anyone have any pics of the steel viper hood on their trucks. I currently have the shaker hood on mine. I love the look of it, but it is beginning to warp very badly. I am guessing because of it being fiberglass in the first place, and second being in the military I see drastic weather changes. When installed I was in Alaska. Now I am in South Carolina. So I figure a steel hood would be a better choice. And third, this is to the guys who have the bed stripe on the back of their trucks, like silverdodge. Is that something you guys had made by a shop or is their a place online I can get those. I really like the look. Sorry if this is really long, but thanks in advance for any input.
