no power

Default no power

my truck has sat for about a year while i had the motor rebuilt. after putting the motor back in the truck has no power. It has about 130000 miles when i had motor rebuilt i have no codes on the computer, motor runs smooth, vacume is good, timing is right, the engine builder even pulled the timing cover and checked the cam timing no smoke no oil consumption truck gets about 10 miles a gallon. i have brought it back to him twice now and he cant seem to find the problem anyone have any suggestions i have done some research and found some info about bad torque converters causing this problem any suggestions?

just a thought but ive heard of a plugged catilatic converter causing a engine to be guttless. Just a thought since you said it has been sitting for a year.

If the computer for the engine has the latest updates from Chrysler, that won't help either. Do a search for the "death flash" and you'll understand what I mean.

by no power i mean car cant get out of its own way give it the gas and it slowly accelerates it cant spin the tires it seems like i put a 4cyl back in it no *****

no death flash car was stronger before the rebuild than after didnt touch computer

if it sat for a year, what does the fuel system look like? is it possible that some of the injectors or other parts are parcially clogged?

Fuel pump? Few things could be wrong after its been sitting for a year. You put in new gas? Water in gas?
