getting towed...won't start

well when i parked it the night before it was running just fine. then when i went to start it the next day, it did start but it ran really rough and was shakin the whole truck like i had a pissed off old school 426 hemi running under the hood. after i shut it off and tried to start it again, thats when i woudn't start. It wanted to start but never could. they put a new relay in and it came right back to life. then they put the old one back in and it was back to not starting. the relay was only $13
Wait, did it still start out?!?!? and just run rough is all??? or did it just stop running in general altogether??
