I have that cat on my truck. That with the Flowmaster 40 series = very nice sound without being obnoxiously loud (that's what my bike is for).

Not trying to be a dick as I know we were all your age once but being 13 can't you not legally drive? So how would you know if it had "WAYYYY" more power? I mean I realize you can drive in a driveway and stuff like that but that's not really a place you can see how much power it has. I think the reason you guys noticed soo much power was like you said the factory cat was bad.

That being said I have one only mine is the 3" single in single out as it's what I needed. If your pipe goes into a Y right before the catalytic converter that's what you need. If it goes into the converter as 2 then you need the one you have listed. Post a picture and someone can tell you which you need. Lots have ordered the wrong one including me. Luckily I was able to cancel it before it shipped out.

That being said I didn't notice much of a power difference. I changed it and the front o2 sensor at the same time. Did the rear later but put a o2 simm on and didn't notice a difference with that.

When I did the cat and the front o2 sensor it seemed like it might ever so slightly have a tiny bit more power but it wasn't much at all. It was louder though. Had a nice tone to it and a fair bit louder and a little raspier. Not too raspy though. It sounds way better but I noticed way more sound than I did power. I'm not sure if it even made a difference power wise or if it just was the sound making it seem like it had a tad bit more power. Wasn't much of a difference anyway though.

I like it but honestly unless you want the sound or have a bad factory cat I'd probably just leave the factory one on. I would however go this route if your factory one was bad.

I know it's all a matter of personal preference, but, when I had my 40 on it sounded awesome. But after I put the Magna Flow cat on it was way too loud and had that raspy acceleration and popping on deceleration, that sounds terrible to me anyway.

I haven't noticed any raspiness to mine. It's still low and rumbly. I haven't noticed any popping on decel either, but I had it put on in November, and it's been too cold to drive with the windows down, so, unless it was really popping, I wouldn't be able to hear it. Mine is the two into one, then the 40 series is 1 in 2 out.

I didn't notice any performance difference, but the stock one had disintegrated and chunks of it had migrated to the old muffler so it wasn't plugging anything up.

I have a 40 series and the magnaflow cat. Honestly when driving it doesn't sound raspy at all. At least not inside the truck. However, if you sit still and rev it it does have that little bit of raspy sound to it. I don't notice it popping when slowing down either. Except for if I down shift it to say 1st gear or something and let it rev fairly high and let the engine just slow me down on it's own. It did this with just the FM40 too. As long as I leave it in drive I don't have this.

It is at times a tad too loud for me now but not bad. Sometimes I love it sometimes I think just the 40 series was better but if you want it loud this does make it a bit louder. I like it overall. Just not sure it's worth $70 or whatever plus install just for the sound unless you really want it. Like I said if my factory cat was bad this is what I'd use but I'm not sure I'd do it again unless that was the case. I thought I might have a bad factory one when I did it but I guess not since I didn't notice much of a difference.

I'm real happy with the 50 on it. When you want it loud , just punch it. LOL Other than that, it's not obnoxious sounding. Plus you can cruise by cops and not even think twice about it. But, all in all, like I said, it's all personal preference.
