Sound mostly, but you may notice a slight acceleration/power increase (I did).

Depending on your year (you may want to make a signature with all that info in it) of truck, you may have the 2-to-1 unit like you attached, or you may have a 3" 1-to-1 unit. 1999s to 2001s mostly had the 1-to-1, but some 1998s did as well I believe.

That's because the factory cat was probably bad. And what muffler you got on it?

I ordered the exact cat you have pictured, besides having a difficult time finding someone to install, it is an awesome addition!

Get it.

The factory cat was bad. It was throwing a CEL and was choking the engine.

I got a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler.

I did the same. Much louder, but I also changed the muffler at the same time.

well my truck is a 98 and the stock cat is a 2 to 1 unit so i want to get the magnaflow cat in the picture. its 2.5" then the muffler i have on the truck is a 3" magnaflow. i pretty much need to replace the cat since mine is cracked and it makes a "hissing" noise. it sounds stupid. so i'll get that magnaflow cat welded on so it's sealed and loud, cause thats what i want lol
