Default Borgeson steering shaft

I am trying to install one on my Ram. The directions do not make sense on how it mounts to the gear box. it seems like I wiil have to modify the shaft coming out of the gear box for the shaft to mount correctly. Has anyone here installed one that has a DIY or some photos? Thanks!!!

I have not personally installed one myself, but from what I have read about them is they are a very good company and that it should be a bolt on deal. If its not, I would be calling them and asking some questions.

The shaft is a TOB ! Worth the $300. And Claymore, the only mod you might have to do is, if you have a pin about 3/4" long sticking out of the end of the stub shaft itself. Just cut it off flush with the stub shaft.

So the set screw on the Borgeson shaft just tightens down onto the shaft coming out of theSteering box? The is no notch for it to sit in once tightened?

Well yes, that too. But you just need to file a small flat spot where the set screw goes, which I did after I made sure I had it in the right spot. (as in wheel straight) Once you are happy with the position, tighten the set screw a little and it will crush the splines, so you can see where to file it.
