329!! WOW!!!

FYI, that tach is probably made by Autometer and without the words MOPAR on it the identical tach would cost you $110 less. With 10k rpm sweep your auto trans will have it shifting less than 1/2way up the gauge which looks a bit goofy.

For $40 less you can get an Autometer that has a much smaller micro shift light (easier to hide/not fugly like big ones) as well as the 2nd stage shift so you can set 2/3 shift for a bit higher rpms. Also has output so you can data log if so inclined. I went the AM Ultralite ProCompII with 9k rpm sweep.

well what can our motors reach? i just found the ach on there, 8K sweep,, with the monster light ( i like bit lites, unless i see a micro light and like it better) for like 189

no i have one other question, can i just buy a tach that doesnt come with a shift light and buy a shift light to plug into it, or would i jus tbe better getting one that already has it?

My buddies radical NA408 with a 260/266(050) - 688 lift solid lifter cam, has been taking it to 7k rpms.
My heavily built 408 (236/242-580L)) wont see more than 6k rpms.
With a stock computer & valve train your maxing about 4800-5krpms. With a cam & 1.6rr you can go 5500rpms, with guides/hardened pushrods 5800rpms.

That's a nice looking tach but costs a lot. I almost want it as I do really like it. However, you notice it even says Autometer on the actual Tach. I think a regular Autometer may be a better way to go as you could probably get the same thing a lot cheaper without the word Mopar written on it.
