turning off at stop light
just at stop lights???? maybe it doesnt like bright red lights
jk... give some symptoms, does it try to fight to stay alive, has it been doing it a long time, did it just start, does it just turn off like electric or like it lost a ton of power and just dropped to 0 rpms and quit on you???? We need these things to help diagnose, my best guess is that you arent getting the right air to fuel mixture ratio when your rpms drop to idle, possibly meaning you have the same problem I have...now the only problem with the problem that I am having is that i cant quite completely figure it out, but when I do, ill let you know

first check battery voltage, if it too low it will shut down at idle, then i would check the IAC. this is for starters, but like cherryram said, its hard to diagnose with small amounts of info.
well even just if im going down the street and i let go of the gas too quickly itll shutdown. i mean everything turns off. i have to ease off the gas slowly. and i was thought it was an air fuel problem as well but i had a 91 dodge and it would do the same thing. that turned out to be the distributor. the whole cap had melted together. but i havent had a chance to check it on this truck.
