Which HID?
Yeah... I just noticed that as I was looking there. I guess the higher power washes the color out a little bit, but that seems a little counter intuitive. Maybe best to shoot them an e-mail and explain what you are trying to accomplish.
I've been thinking about going HID... but I'm not sure I'm ready to take the plunge, I don't want to lose my high beams, and there seem to be a lot of complaints about the bi-xenon, and having an element bulb for high beams seems to defeat the point.

Look at the front of my truck. The headlights and lower driving lights are 5000k.

Blue is something they are not.
Here is 8000k in my R1. The high beams are Farenheit Super White bulbs so they aren't stock. The small corner bulbs are from Super Bright LED. They match the color of the headlights almost perfectly. I have a picture of the 6000k in the car but it really doesn't look anything like it does in person to me anyway.
These might look slightly bluer in the pictures than in person but they have a fair bit of blue to them in person but they also have quite a bit of white. They are white with a pretty blue tint to them.

Both are 35 watt. The lights behind the grille are 55 watt. My Pencil beams that I have yet to mount are 55 watt as well.
viper, you have exactly what im looking for. I notice your fog lamps are aftermarket, do you know where i can get bulbs for factory ones, i couldnt find any on DDM. I need an 896 but the closest DDM has is an 880.
We don't have no stinkin weather in this California paradise, I need no fog lights.
I don't feel like I was ripped off. That's what you expect to pay for a quality set of HID ballasts and bulbs, at least over $100. $298 for headlight and foglights HIDs does not seem unreasonable to me. I didn't want to buy them off eBay either. I wanted to go through a site, and have it on record incase anything went wrong. My HIDs don't appear to glare or distract me anymore than somebody with ultra bright halogens. I've had my brother drive towards me and it does not affect me eyes.
