Default Non-working windsheild wipers

I replaced a blown fuse for my wipers. my wipers quit working. The whole control is not commanding anything. Not even the spray. IS my wiper motor bad. It had ice build on the wipers on the bottom of windsheild, It was working then I thought I had turmed it off. When I got back into truck, they would not work.

On a more positive note... I did get the coolant leak fixed. It was a blown timing cover gasket next to the water jacket on the passenger side. what a cold job to do outside in this weather we are having!!! BRRRR LOL! At least now I have a brand new radiator, water pump, thermostat, seal in the harmonic balancer, and a new serpentine belt.

Did you check your fuse again? Also, fluid level. Do you hear any motors running when you turn the switch to on or press it in for the washer?

There is also a wiper motor relay in the PDC . Atleast there is on a 98, since you have absolutely NO info about your truck in your sig, I could be wrong.

The fluid will not come out of my windshield wiper and the reservoir is full.

Check the relay as zman said. Also wouldn't hurt to look up a wiring diagram and find the common denominator between washer and motor not working.

@ mattnickerson, the person you responded to is posting in an old thread...probably a different problem

@torinatrell - first thing i would look at is the washer pump...it's cheap and easy to replace, located at the bottom of the reservoir. I had to replace mine not long ago because it was intermittently not working.
