Leveled out the Truck, what length shocks now?
I installed my 2" leveling kit on my 2WD 1500 yesterday. Looks great, however I have a teensy tiny problem. My shocks.
Everyone has told me that I don't need longer shocks with the kit, but I beg to differ. I can hear my shocks stopping and popping at their limits, and it sounds horrible. One thought that came to my mind was maybe I was sent a 2.5 inch kit by mistake, as the truck actually sits slightly higher in the front then the back. However I think that may be because the rubber hasn't really broken in yet.
For kicks I unbolted the shocks and took it for a drive, the noise went completely away.
So here is the question I pose to you, what shocks should I get now? I need something that is affordable mainly.

If your front shocks mount up like my 4wd does, you have the rod up top.
Grab yourself a set of these for a cheap fix

I didn't use them because I bought all new shocks (2" + front, 0" rear lift) because I was still running stockers. I was thinking about jacking the rear up 2" after replacing the shocks and looked for "shock extensions" Ran across some for the rear for 5" and in the process I ran across some for the front. Wish ya luck
I'm amazed that Viper the perfectionist, atleast as far as lighting goes, would want to install those .

Only because I am massively strapped for cash at the moment. Tax time + school books + tons of incidentals coming up that Uncle Sam wont pay for = poortime.\
But yes, I am really really **** about things like this usually... lol

I got them from fat bobs garage, and I'll be damned. I read in the instructions the first time through that extended length shocks are highly reccomended. Well, a few products down he sells the kit w/ longer shocks.
Hint much?
Oh well, guess I'm paying for my own density this time!
Thanks for the help guys.
