Default Replacing front caliper

I purchased one of those reman. calipers today, and it came with all these random pieces.

Looks like two rectangular plates that have a few holes and notches in them, and 2 short bolts.

What all do I put in with this replacement caliper? Are these abs components or something?

When you take the old one off you will see where they go, sounds like to new bolts and anti rattle springs too me.

Not sure... see I took the wheel off last month to replace a u joint and I didnt notice anything other than a caliper and pads lol...

Heres a pic of the parts. I know the copper washers go on where the line comes in. Those rectangular pieces are backings? And I have no idea about those 2 smaller pieces or the elastics lol they must have been tossed in there for no reason.

You'll see. And make sure you clean the steering knuckle where everything slides and put something like Sil-Glyde grease on them and the slide pins. And I would take the other side off and clean and lube everything as well, or the next thread you start will be, "I have a pull when braking"

You know, unless it's not the same as a 98 , or that extra stuff is for a 2 wheel drive, I don't have any of that stuff on mine. Except of course for the copper washer. If you don't have another vehicle to use, I would double check what you have bought.

Its one of those remanufactured calipers. Cardone or something. I told them specifically for a 95 4x4 1/2 ton, so its possible that they use the same part number for more than one application or something. I only paid $40 canadian for it.

Upon further review , I finally opened my eyes and saw you have a 4x4. I was assuming it was 2 wheel at first. In any event, everywhere I look the 2wd and 4wd use the same caliper. There is none of that stuff except the copper washers for the brake hose. So I think you better make sure you got the right part and someone didn't screw up or it is boxed wrong. Got a pic of the new caliper. And don't you have the box it came in? You'll need it to return the core anyway.
