Actually, I think its the other way around. I believe the SCT can read codes, but cannot (yet) program the speedo for different tire sizes. I heard they are working on it though.

i am pretty sure jason it cannot read codes. because i have made the comment about it to sct owners and none of them have come back with "it can". plus i am pretty sure they would advertise it if it did.

please prove me wrong. this is one of the reasons i have not purchased a sct yet. besides getting ready to throw 35's on too.

now if you look at the some of the other ones for other vehicles on there site it specifically says it reads and clears codes. donnt know why it wouldnt say it with the one compatible for our trucks.

Well, I really dont care if it can read codes or not. Its not a diagnostic computer, and I dont plan on using it that way. The thing I like about it is I get a tune for my stock 360, then in 6months update it for a ported TB, round air cleaner, and headers, and then 3yrs from now when I put a MP crate engine in my truck and putting out 400hp at the crank I still have the same tuner. Every tune is a custom tune. Thats what I like about it.

thanks you guys. i didnt think it could. i wonder why they donnt put that on their selling page. glad i am wrong about that. it was the biggest turn off for me.

i have the money for the sct but i think i am going with a rough country suspension lift first. since i allready have my new rims and tires.

can i use my superchips to adjust my tire size and then put the sct tune in too?

i should have known better than to doubt you jason. what was i thinking. lol

Yeah you can adjust yourtires with Super then throw on the SCT. SCT shouldnt touch those settings.
