Default Lockers on a daily driver?

I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500, 318, 4x4. I drive the thing to and from work, which is a total of about 5 miles each day. Weekends I like to play around in the mud and hit the trails with my buddys.

I did some research and I'm pretty sure I have my questions answered, but I'd like it cleared up completly.

I've been looking at the Detroit Locker for the rear, and a True Trac for the front. The ARB is definately not in my price range, and I've been told that they can have problems when being used alot in deep mud and water with debris in it. I had a Lock-Rite in my old Tacoma and loved the thing. But the Lock-Rite is not recommended for lager tires/higher hp applacations.

So basically,
Is the Detroit Locker an OK locker for the rear in a daily driver?
And the True Trac an OK lsd/locker for the front on a daily driver?

Sorry for the long post,
thanks in advance.

Sounds like a great match to me. Depending on whether you like the increased tire wear / bang's from the locker, you could throw a truetrac in the rear too. Being that you drive 5 miles each day, I'd go for the locker and hit the trails! Good luck!
