Default Driver's door is jacked ....ed Up!

Yeah my driver side door is screwed up.. click the link below to see pictures. Does anyone have a keep fix?.. I don't own any metal working tools... I've worked on it the best I can and this is the result.. it closes now! Anything would be helpful.

ouch! Sorry man but unless you have some tools like a welder and such, you may have to pay for someone else to fix it or buy a new door. How did that happen anyway?

I figured I'd need a new pin... maybe there's a junk yard in the area that has the same door... I'm guessing it's going to be a couple hundred?

Console came out nice I think as well... I need to install my switches and switch plate... that will cover up the top half... but I'm trying to save money because in a few weeks I'm going to New York City.. then the first week of April I'm going to LA and Vegas to visit my brother! Should be fun!

Just replace the pins . I don't see the crack being a big deal.

Pins are Help! part # 38423. You'll need 2 pair because only one pin out of each package will work.

iwhitne's may not be that bad yet, so if the pins get replaced he may be good to go. Besides, if you eventually find a door, you will already have good hinges.

Default me too =(

My door did the same thing about 2 weeks ago. Split up all the metal for the bolts to hold the catch/latch/lock mechanism (what do you call that piece?).

I literally just rigged mine to work in the mean time.

That is scrap metal from the hard drive of an old computer =)

Too bad the junk yards around here(Tallahassee, fl) SUCK. They have the same old 5 trucks that are almost completely rusted out from 8 months ago, last time I was there. I guess Dodges tend to hold up well and nobody wants to scrap em.

yea, replace your hinge pins and possibly the latch / lock mechanism. Pay someone to weld up that split metal. think safety
