I don't like under drive pulleys..

your accessories need power to operate, that's why they have the pulley size they have.

For Example: If you were to buy a powerful alternator and put a under drive pulley on it, its not gonna be as powerful anymore =)

In my opinion they are ok for drag racing, but I wouldn't use it for anything else..

Switch to an Electric radiator fan instead, that adds response HP

i have underdrives on my Mustang and hae no problems.

556 I know for a fact my crank pulley has 1 big bolt so that does answer that question.

I also noticed you have a different coil then me.

Eh I'm back to pondering what I want to do. It was broght to my attention I could get a brand new summit box for 130 and get 15 summit bucks for something else.

my crank pulley is the same as steve is describing. its different than most and costs alot more.

had msd6a on 3 different vehicles. couldnt tell a difference on any of them. wont be putting one on this one.

heres the underdrive crank pulley i have. had it for a while just havent put it on yet. should be the same as yours.

I ahve had a 6A, blaster coil and MSD wires on my truck for about 6 years now. It made a world of difference in throttle response, smoother idle, quicker starts and improved MPG by about 1.5 to 2. By far it is the best mod I have made. I got a deal as well on the MSD box. I don't think I would have it if I would of had to pay retail. Go for the MSD!!! As for the pully set up, I am not fond of under drive stuff.

you don't use your stock coil with the MSD... I mean you can, but you may as well use the better MSD coil. the plug that I fabbed goes right in line to the factory coil wires, but you don't use your stock stuff at all.
