Default Elusive leaks

Hi,

2002 Ram 1500 Quad cab 4x4 with 72000 miles.

Maybe someone could help me ID a leak .. that seems to not be a leak.

1. The leaking is coming from under the truck, even with the door hinge.

2. The leak is mostly water with a slight oily feel to it. It does not have the look/feel/taste/smell of coolant or motor oil or tranny fluid.

It smells similar to water that has poured out of a tire. It has happened for the last two days with an estimated 2 liters of fluid on the ground.

3. I do not have any water inside the vehicle that could be leaking through the floor pan. All of my other fluids are topped off and not losing any fluids.

4. I have not driven trough any standing water in the last week or so.

5. I have crawled under the truck and watched it drip out .. from seemingly no where.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Elusive leak?

Anyway, it's most likely coming from the HVAC box drain.

So after 1 post, a post you don't like, you grouch off and leave?

Nice!

As for the drip, think about it. What on the vehicle could possibly leak water?

Sorta narrows it down doesn't it? Also, who's to say it's not melting ice, or morning condensation? When I get on the road in the morning, condensation rolls off my windshield, off my roof and down my back window like a bat out of hell.
