Default Weld vs clamp

Is it better to weld in a muffler or exhuast system, or just use the clamps that come with the kit?

Personally, clamping seems easier and cheaper to me (won't have to take it to a shop to be welded), and I can make changes more easily later if I want. But, the stock exhaust is welded, so didn't know if that is prefered.

Thanks.

Really, either way will work. The advantage of welding it is so that it doesn't leak, and it just looks cleaner. I personally think the cat-back on my truck looks like *** cause there's 4 clamps in the system...

weld, wont be loose... I tried clamps and the intention was to pull it apart and experiment more with it but the clamps crimped the tubes and I couldnt get it apart... even tried heating it.
