i am thinking about buying a new 2005 Ram 1500 4X4 5.2 HEMI. Does the HEMI have good pulling power? Am i making a good choice?

 

You're kidding right? That thing kicks butt when towing.

 

The 360 is junk compared to the 5.7 (345ci)Hemi. Plus when you get the truck you can say, Yeah its got a Hemi.

 

How's a 360 junk Dude? That engine couldn't be more bulletproof.

my dad just got a 2005 /w a hemi. all i can say is... oh my god!

 

Hey man, trust me I love the 360. It is bullet proof but it does lack power compared to the hemi. I have a 360 La in my 1990 Dodge Ram. I love it except its full injected. I just wish they had some more horses to come with all those cubes.

Well, if you have an LA or Magnum 360 you can make as much or more power than the Hemi. Not that the potential for the Hemi isn't there, it is, but there are no PCM's available that allow for good gains.

 

plus, there are new performance kit's coming out often for the HEMI motor... Hemi blower kit
