Lug Nuts don't stay put
I have a problem with my lug nuts loosening up and ultimately falling off. The problem is on one lug on each of the front wheels of my '95 2wd 1500. It has only been 3-4 weeks since I replaced them last and they are already loose again, but the other eight are fine. Does anyone know what may be causing this, or how to prevent it?

Torque them suckers down... like 100 ft lbs or so. You might be able to go with a little bit of low-strength lock-tite or something... but you shouldn't be dropping lug nuts like that.
When you torque them down, do the first lug nut, then tighten one on the other side until you work your way around the whole wheel.
Good luck!

Check the nut and threads. What are you torquing them to? They need to be torqued to 100 ft lbs. I'd recommend doing them with a torque wrench by hand also not with a impact wrench with or without a torque stick. I'd do them by hand especially if I was having that issue. You also know to tighten them in a star like pattern right? Once tight go back around and make sure all are tight.

your threads are most likely stretched out. more torque will work, until the threads can't take it and strip out. then you have to replace the stud.
Typically this happens by using an impact wrench to tighten down the lug nuts, instead of torquing to spec. I believe spec is either 85 or 95 ft/lbs. should be in the owners manual.

yes agreed aluminum wheels are very bad and if its a 95 they are probably getting walard out and are going to need to be replaced been there done that and after new studs all around and steel wheels I was all good again. Another problem with that is in effect over tightening. 110 is what Tire shops will tighten to its kinda the standard you tighten to o tight and you do one or both of two things. you pull your lugs through or you twist them and they snap off. Check your wheels for key holing. Basically the hole being flared out if they are Replace the wheels and replace them soon.
