Default headlights

hey, i just got my truck, and the headlights have a thick yellowish tint to them, how can i get rid of this ugly tint that they have. it has to be one of the most annoying things when i look at the front of my truck.

you can replace them with some good used ones (sitting in my garage for a price) or you can upgrade them to the sport headlights for a greater price...

take a look at my truck...

Whats the difference between the normal ones that come on the offroad editions like mine and the ones that come on the sport ones? I assume differnt size so modification would be needed but what makes them an upgrade?

I assume they are not the diamond ones or whatever like the stock ones.

My BigRedDodge is the sport model. The lenses are clear. However, I have a old 89 Caravan that the lenses turned real yellow on so I used some stuff called "Novus scratch remover" and it polished out pretty clear. I'd guess any brand scratch remover and/or polish would work. Just hope they aren't yellowed inside, that would be hard to clean.

What do you have to do to get the sport headlights to fit?

they are a direct fit replacement and use both the 9007 and 9004 bulbs... stupid if you ask me.. should be one or the other. It was a little bit of a bitch to get them in but once their in, you don't have to mess with them agian. the light output is way better than the stock lights.
