Default Grill guards/bumpers that fit a 98 sport

On Friday I was in a minor accident that damaged the front bumper. In short, the metal of the front bumper needs repainted ($216) and the valence/facia (that big plastic piece below the bumper that is painted on the sport model) needs repainted ($214) and the black plastic cover above replaced ($117).

I know some bumpers like the ranch hands cover/replace the existing bumper, and if I can get one for around the same price I would much rather have it (especially since the other guys insurance will end up paying the above costs regardless). What I can't find are many which are compatible with the sport edition that are reasonable in price. Can anyone provide any suggestions? Ranch Hand does not have any that are compatible.

I searched through there and did not find any ones other than this one (which may or may not fit, waiting to hear back):

Anyone have any leads? All the ones I run across say that they do not fit sport models which I find a bit odd for the full bumper replacements.

Well I just hit some women the other day in the snow and You might want to try lcm or ebay if your looking to just replace your factory. I fiund all the stuff I need for around 300 shipped on ebay. Sports look good but there a pain to find stuff that fits. I have noticed that most stuff say not sport or off road and I would like to know why as well. And good luck with finding a bumpher for your sport and for 547 dont hold your breath. You might want to 2X your budget for a full front replacment.

My 98 sport is the same as a non-sport except the bumper and grill are painted. I think they changed the bumper, grill, and valence mid-year in 98. Can you post a picture of your truck?

The front bumper and headlight assemblies on the '95-'98 Sport models are exactly the same as the non-Sports except the Sport bumpers are painted. Anything that will fit a regular Ram will fit a Sport model up to 1998.

not sure of your budget, but a buddy of mine smashed his up a little worse than yours, where he needed to replace it all. he bought a ranch hand type bumper/bull bar from a place in texas that replaced all the bumper/valence, etc. it was expensive, but it was real nice, real strong, and included the heavy duty headlight guards. i'll try to find a name. i think it was around $1000.

might have been here, but these are about $2000 shipped.
