Default 94 360 bogs down

Ok fellas, I still have this 94 1500 RAm with a 360 that I've been fighting with for the past oh 6 years or so. lol. Well recently it got to the point that it felt like something was holding it back a bit. Well my dad had been driving it for a bit and one day on the highway it felt like something was binding and bogging it down. When you let off the gas it feels like someone slams it into 1st and the front end does a nose dive, but the rpms never raise, so I think it is somwhere besides the tranny. Now the last time I took it out after this happened, I turned a corner off of the highway after it bogged down and it kinda seemed to bind up in the turn, popped a cople times from the front end and seemed to do "ok". By this I mean it drove fine w/o any noises, but still felt kinda sluggish. Any help guys? TIA

Im spitballing but maybe theres a bent tie rod , or ur calipers are warn and engaging the brakes without actually needing pedel action. Also is the truck 4wd? If so could be the front Axle needing to be rebuilt , or even can be a locked transfer case. Im sorry im not much help , but maybe if u awnser my questions someone with loads more experince will be able to tell you whats wrong!

God speed , and good luck!

sorry I thought I said it was 4x4. I don't see how a tie rod could have gotten bent, this truck is only on the streets and mainly just in town. Also wouldn't that cause some steering issues all the time instead of intermittently? I'm thinking that the 2 problems are related, so could a claiper hanging up cause the pop? This truck has about 140k miles on it now, could it possibly be a u-joint siezing? possibly a wheel joint?

edit: also I forgot to mention that it is an auto if anyone was wondering

Dragging brake maybe? It could also be the 4X4 hub is engaged on the front axle and that's causing binding to occur.

I know and I apreciate it. I see where you're coming form on the tie rod being bent on a street only truck, I had a curb bend the front axle on my 98 Ram. But I really hope you're wrong on the axle needing rebuilt, but I was kinda thinking about that in the back of my head.
