My truck did the same thing i did a tune up and went thought the hole thing and then i was liston to it idle and you can hear like a whis noice and i started to think about the cat if it plug it not letting the motor rev up b/c it acting like a plug to test to see if it the cat unbolt the y pipe from the headers or manfould and make sure nothin is in the way of the exhaulf that could melt cause it going to be shoting fire. Start it up and see if it rev up and if it dose that was your prom. And do not drive your truck like that BAD. But it ok for a couple min you let it idle

Well i was going to try the easier version of checking the cat, u remove the O2 sensor and suppose to remove some backpressure and make it run better but if no difference ill pull off the y-pipe this weekend or soemthing

Same thing happened to my 94 1500. Brought it to the dealer, had 2 different fuel pumps put in, had the injectors cleaned, had all my valves checked, and it turned out to be some sort of break wire at fault causing my computer to restart, or something bizzare like that.

I dumped like 1100 before they could figure out it was around a $10 fix.

Truck's running strong now, though.
