Default Diagnosing Odd Squeaks -- FYI

This past weekend, I noticed an odd squeak while taking off from a dead stop. The squeak would dissipate as the speed of my truck increased. It was evident as I had my rear quarter window open. There was nothing in the cargo box, so I was perplexed as to what was squeaking.

Later, I had the opportunity of having to crawl under the rear of the truck to troubleshoot an electrical problem with my tail lights. During the troubleshooting session I discovered the nature of my mystery squeak --

The spare tire wasn't cinched up tight to the underside of the truck.

Had my son tighten it up and the squeak went away
