ok guys, i have a question for you all. i'm in the process of upgrading certain things on my engine and over-all performance of the truck. i already have a cold-air intake installed and it works ok. what im curious about is throttle body spacers. is it really worth it? as far as i know it might help with gas mileage, might not, and only like a 2-5hp gain? idk. thats why im asking. any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

 

There is a -5 Hp gain.

 

tb spacers are a waste of money, its been agreed upon by all of us on df.

 

do you mean a negative 5hp(losing hp) or gaining 5 hp?
is it truly a waste of money?
if it is a waste of money i'd like to know so i can cancel my order and just save the money and hassle.

 

ya, they don't do anything, its like putting a restriction plate on your race car to make it the same as the other cars
