Default I know what I want to do

I know what I want, and I'm just going to do it.

I am buying 33/12.5/17 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZs, and a 1.5" coil spacer. This will make the truck pretty much level all around, I'll get the great look of a wide tire again, and I'll be stoked about the truck once more.

I'm in the midst of selling my 285s right now for $395, I have about $300 in savings, and once I get my tax returns, I can buy the tires I want. Preferablly, I'd like to buy the new tires without having to sell my 285s, incase something goes wrong with the transmission. But if somebody wants to buy them, I'm not going to hesitate to sell them either. I just figured I'm not going to keep sitting here being down about my truck. It's not going to be what it used to, but I think it's going to look better. It's not going to be too high, and will have a nice fat looking tire.

I think your truck will look great with 33s. I'm gonna put 33s on it in a couple years when the truck gets passed onto me!

My dad is lookin' to get around $5400 back. Hopefully we are getting a camper! WOOT! (Camper we are looking at is $4600)

Keep in mind that once you level it, then when you tow, it will look like it is sagging like crazy in the back because you no longer have the factory rack to hide that.

Whatever happened to keeping it as close to stock as possible so that you don't jeopardize your lawsuit and don't mess up another trans? I doubt this will make you happy with your truck, you'll want something else again before long. That's the addiction we all have.

I don't know how you keep being able to afford new tires this often, but anyway.
Have you considered not replacing the tires until they have worn out? That would save
you a little money in the long run. just my 2 cents.

Believe me...no money tree here. I go to school full time, and work 50+ hours a week with 2-3 overnights. I clear about $350 a week after house payments. It's going to take some time before I can afford any of this. Frankly if it wasn't for my tax returns coming, it'd be awhile. I just finished selling my fender flares to Josh Hilton, so that helped, and when the tax returns come, I'll have enough for the tires. I do have my 285s for sale right now, so if they sell, great, but if they don't, I'll store them in the garage and keep them around in case something goes wrong.

I've just been thinking it over and over. I put the 285s on my truck to prove it was their transmission, and not my truck. The 285s served their purpose. Now that I have a transmission that appears to be operating normally, it's time I make the truck look the way I want it to. It's not like I'm throwing the 35s back on there, I'm just going to go between a 285 and a 35". I may not even do the spacer, who knows. I'm just focused on saving up right now and purchasing the ATZs. I have the 0-3" adjustable trackbar, so I should be able to have the axle alligned still even if I do end up buyying the 1.5" spacer.

Should look great. Should be similar height to my truck only mine might be slightly higher in the rear as I have a AAL in the rear too. I also have 16" wheels instead of 17"s but have a similar sized lift. I have a 3" lift but lost the 1.5" or so from the Offroad package as the springs got replaced.
