Nothing really. What he's going on about is how my antenna is so horrible where it is, yet somehow magically my SWR reading's are extremely low.

Combine low SWR with high power and you have win.

It's only boosted to about 9 or 10 watts. Not a huge jump.

I've seen yours. Unfortunately I use my center seat pretty often, as I volunteer at a local high school and I commonly have 5 kids + me in my truck.

Seriously, GTFO.
Try to be cool there man. You seem to be taking what I said much more personally than it was intended.

Because after multiple posts of me telling you that you are wrong, you continue to insist that you aren't. Seriously, get out of my thread.

ok,,, i am kinda a com guy, but to be completely honest... viper is just fine with what he has.

the antenna pulls signal from the center of the stick. yes it would be better for the antenna to be up so that center is above the cab, so in a way ugly you are right. but. as long as he has the center above the bed rails, he is perfectly fine.

i would almost go as far as to say there viper, you can probably talk a few towns over without that kicker ( or amp, whatever).

i run twin 4ft whips mounted on the outsides of my toolbox, works awesome for having a major airport right where i live( i live on a USMC air station) and the airfield kills swr's, i still talk at least two towns up and very clearly with no kicker. so ugly, you are right but your really not.

and so you know the fcc wont do anything. at all to what i understand. concidering i have a vhf radio operators card, i kinda know this. its to pitty for anyone to care

Look, I honestly could care less where you stick your antenna. It was a bit of friendly advise to be taken or leaved. Good luck with that attitude. I am sure it will make your existence very challenging. I am truly sorry if I have upset you.
